Applications
With what type of
switch will it work?
The standard Chicken Switch,
CS-01, will work with most  pistol
grip control switches.

The ES-20 is specially designed for
mini-control switches.  It uses the
same controller and cable as the
CS-01.

If you have an application that is
unique, we'll work with you to
develop a solution.
In what type of installation
would I use it?
How is the actuator
installed and removed?
To Install:
Tip the actuator as shown and place the edge of the
actuator frame on top of the switch escutcheon plate.
Rotate the actuator down, making sure the actuator arm
properly engages the control switch handle.
To Remove:
Grasp the gearbox cover and rotate the actuator upward.
Once the magnets have separated from the switchgear
enclosure, lift the actuator clear of the control switch.
Anytime you have a need to open or close an electrically operated circuit
breaker that does not have a control station located outside the electrical
arc-flash boundary.

Closed-transition switching of double-ended substations (when both
transformer secondaries are momentarily paralleled) is especially worrisome
since in many installations the fault duty of the switchgear is exceeded.
